Surmounted by a shaped stepped marble top, above two small drawers, the drop front with two quarter veneered cartouches, the reverse inset with a gilt tooled brown leather writing surface, the interior fitted with pigeon holes, shelves and six small drawers, above a pair of cupboard doors with similar panels, the interior fitted with shelves and two pigeon holes, on short cabriole legs and pierced scrolling acanthus cast sabots, the carcass stamped to the back MACRET and with old paper label inscribe COMTE DE GUYENCOURT/ AMIEN, 97cm wide, 37cm deep, 144cm high
